Galicano F. Inguito, Jr., MD, MBA, FAAFP
Dr. Inguito received his M.D. degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, followed by a residency in Family Medicine at Eastern Virginia School of Medicine – Ghent Family Practice in Norfolk, Virginia where he served as Chief Resident. He is Board-Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine as well as receiving board certification by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management of the American College of Physician Executives. Dr. Inguito received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Delaware Executive MBA program.
Dr. Inguito was honored by the Delaware Academy of Family Physicians as the 2008-2009 Family Physician of the Year. Dr. Inguito served as the Associate Residency Program Director for the St. Francis Family Practice Residency Program in Wilmington, Delaware prior to opening up Delaware Family Medicine.
Dr. Inguito is actively involved in several organizations including the American Medical Association (AMA), American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), and the Delaware Institute of Medical Education and Research (DIMER). He currently serves as Adjunct Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the Temple School of Medicine . He served as President of the Delaware Board of Medical Practice. Nationally, Dr. Inguito served on the Board of Directors of the Federation of State Medical Boards and served on the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3 Committee.
His outside interests include spending time with his family, playing sports, and traveling.
